The Kale Rainforest on the Planterbox Plateau

This is the kale rainforest.

A beautiful haven on the planterbox plateau.

This is a very rare type of alligator.

And here is a photo-bombing ape!

Apes are very clean.

Some terrestrial penguins...

They belly slide on mud!

These animals' homes are all being threatened....

...by people who want to make farms...

...and big oil companies.

This is terrible! Stop it from happening!

Bees

I love bees. I love bees for so many reasons, like that they make honey, and that they help plants make fruit, which tastes good and is healthy, and good for the plants.

I found this odd little bumble bee on some borage while watering the garden.

Tesla coil

I made two Tesla coils with some friends and a mentor called Reed. It took a couple of months.

A Tesla coil is a huge transformer which makes small lightning (Gigantic sparks).

First, the electricity goes into a transformer, which raises the voltage.
Then, the spark gap and the capacitor(s) give the electricity a certain frequency.
Next come the coils. There is the primary coil, and the secondary coil.
The primary coil goes around the secondary coil, with a layer of  in between. These to coils are a very very high voltage transformer. On top of the secondary coil there is ether a metal ball, or torus. If it's a ball, as on our coil, there is a stiff little wire on top, which emits the sparks.  Otherwise the sparks come out of the torus.

AMAZING!!!
